Which actually couldn't be further from the truth. To be honest I'm a coffee kind of gal...I named this blog "Ann Marie's Cup of Tea" since it was time to expand the blog. Heck, it rhymes and with this broad platform I am hoping that I can write about pretty much anything!
The first blog that I had from 2010-2011 is called "Eat Cook Read" and is pretty self explanatory but in case you're not very smart, it has recipes, restaurants reviews and book reviews. You can find it here at www.eatcookread.wordpress.com.
If you have questions, have a favorite place to eat, a book that I should read, things that drive you nuts or are interested in me stopping by your restaurant for a review, email me at annmariescupoftea(at)gmail.com!
Things That Are "My Cup of Tea"
Nice people. Reading. My handsome and supportive husband. Short legged animals including but not limited to Daschunds, miniature goats, mini horses and mini cows. "What Would You Do" with John Quinonos on ABC. Knowing that I would be the loud mouth that speaks up and gets honored for doing the right thing on "What Would You Do". Living in Minneapolis. Having grown up on a farm. Unique restaurants with good stories. Faith and a belief in something bigger. Oprah. Knowing the meaning of hard work. Christmas. Self betterment and business books. Yoga. Laughing until I cry with my girlfriends. The Packers. Farmers Markets. Paging through cooking magazines for ideas. 30 Rock and Modern Family. Garth Brooks.
Things That Are NOT "My Cup of Tea"
Green olives. Wordpress....grrr. Too much mayo on a sandwich. Finding a parking spot at your gym in the winter. WINTER. When people are unnecessarily mean to service industry employees. Boot camp workouts where they scream at you. Buying gifts, would rather just give you money, thanks. When people complain about their life but don't make decisions that bring them closer to the solution. Short text language. People that say tossing apple cores and banana peels out my car window is littering. The guy at a college bar we regulared that took the best fake ID I'd ever had after only one week of owning it. Restaurants that play loud techno music. Elizabeth Hasselbeck, you might have nice legs but you're ridiculous. Cyclists that pretend they own the road. People that smell like cats and dandruff (we all know one). Ten hot dogs in a pack and then eight or 12 buns in a pack. Our little family! |
I LOVE Garth Brooks and my least favorite song of his is "Friends in Low Places" and some of my favorites I guarantee you've never even heard of...which is fine by me! |
